About Fulham SW6
Fulham relys primarily on the District line thanks to a new and improved station at Fulham Broadway. Parsons Green station is also nearby.
A new overland station has recently opened at Imperial Wharf connecting to Clapham Junction and North through Shepherds Bush. There are also several major bus routes into central London.
There’s a weekend market on North End Road with loads of fresh produce that’s a great place to stock up with a week’s full of fresh groceries for a good price.
There are numerous boutique shops along Fulham Road and New kings Road. Also, Mark’s and Spencer, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s have shops in Fulham.
Eating and drinking
King’s Road has fast-food outlets and no end of branded cafes and restaurants catering for tourists, shoppers and office workers.
Once a working-class stronghold, neighbouring Fulham is now firmly upper middle class. South Kensington to the north is primarily a tourist district, with major museums and many hotels of varying standards.
There are also several international institutions and schools that give the area a European flavour.
